By Liza Palmer, Review Section Editor.
Welcome to a new Film International website and my new blog, Film Scratches. I look forward to using this venue to communicate with Film International readers, as well as my reviewers. Expect to find here, in future installments: reviews of contemporary independent and avant-garde films submitted to me by practicing film artists; calls for reviews of books, DVDs, films, and festivals; and various news and announcements that celebrate cinema. Many thanks, as always, for the wonderful and long-standing support of our readers and contributors – you make Film International a project to be proud of.
